How It Started

My visual art practice was born in 2012 when Jo David & Marlow Harris invited me to participate in an art show at Bumbershoot. Having no painterly skills whatsoever, I decided to do collage, and it worked! I buy finished vintage paint-by-number paintings at garage sales, eBay, and Goodwill and, working with scissors, an X-ACTO knife, and Golden-brand soft-gel gloss, collage onto the paintings using imagery I find in magazines and newspapers.

"Snippity Snap 2: Snip Harder" opened at Studio M2 in 2022. “The Further Adventures of Snippity Snap,” my debut art exhibit, opened at Solo Bar & Eatery in 2018. I’ve also exhibited at "One Room” during Seattle Art Fair 2018 and Stacya Silverman Gallery in 2019.
